TERMS AND CONDITIONS

FOR BOTH ONLINE AND IN PERSON CLASSES

Before booking a class please take time to read through the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By attending any class you confirm that you accept and will comply with them. If you are unclear or unhappy with any of them please do not proceed.

Yoga is a very personal practice .. It's about how YOU feel in YOUR body. It's about how if FEELS, not how it LOOKS. We are all different in our physical structure, abilities and experience and although I provide clear verbal (and where permissible physical) adjustments to keep you safe and help you feel deeper into your practice, it is impossible for me to know and feel what you are feeling - especially via Zoom! So, if at any time you experience pain or discomfort, you must ease out of the pose and we will find a more suitable variation to suit your body. Practicing this way negates possibility of injury in yoga and therefore I do not accept liability to injuries experienced in any class. Online classes: In addition, due to the nature of online classes, I am unable to give as many specific personal verbal adjustments as it is impossible to see your full alignment via Zoom. At all times, please ensure that you are safe in each pose, that you practice to your abilities and do not over stretch or hold the poses for too long. Yoga should create a stretch, a gentle tension .. it may feel a little uncomfortable at times but it should never ever hurt. Please conduct your practice with care and look after yourself. If you have any doubt come out of the pose and please get in touch for individual advice. Vxx

Class participation

You, the student, agrees that any personal data that you provide is true, accurate, current and complete. Please notify me of any changes to your personal data as soon as possible.

Students

By registering for one or more classes, you - the student - agrees to be aware of the physical risks involved with exercise and understands that it is your personal responsibility to consult with a doctor before joining. In the event of feeling any discomfort or strain during the class, it is your responsibility to come out of the pose and rest or stop the practice entirely. If discomfort continues after the practice please advise the teacher and consult a doctor.

As the student, you agree that you are solely responsible for the decision to practice yoga, move­ment, meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques and you have no known medi­cal conditions which would prevent you from taking part in such sessions. Therefore you are as­suming full responsibility for any risk or injury that may be sustained as a result of your practice.

You agree and understand that yoga, movement, meditation, breathing and relaxa­tion techniques are not substitutes for medical treatments and you should consult with a doctor or therapist prior to beginning any new activity programme.

You agree that the teacher takes no responsibility for any injury suffered by your failure to follow the clear and verbal guidelines given during a class and understand that it is your responsibility to advise the teacher of any physi­cal condition that may limit your participation in the classes and to work only within your physical limitations.

You, the student, hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that you may have now and hereafter against Victoria Churchill Yoga as a result of class participation.

Online Bookings

You agree to register at least one hour before the start of class and have access to Zoom for online bookings. Please arrive on time (recommended online login 5 minutes before the start / in person 10 minutes). You lose the right to attend the booked class if you are up to 5 minutes late. The beginning of the practice is quiet so late comers will disrupt the peace.

Payment

All sessions are payable in advance of attending the class (online and in person). Payment can be made via PayPal or credit/debit cards by going through the booking system on the website. Please email victoriachurchillyoga@gmail.com if you don’t have access to either (cash, cheque or direct online transfer payments can be made by arrangement).

Cancellation policy

If you cancel up to 24 hours before the start of class you can either transfer the payment to a different class/day or receive a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the start of the class you will not receive a refund.

Pricing

All information and decisions in relation to pricing, price changes and service availability is managed by Victoria Churchill Yoga.  I reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of my yoga teaching services after such changes shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such changes. It is your (‘the student’s’) responsibility to check regularly to determine where T&C have been changed. If the participant does not agree with any change, please unsubscribe.
